20 Days, Revenue-Ready: Our Exact Tech Stack at RAGSPRO

Most Indian founders waste ₹2L on developers who never ship a damn thing.

Yeah, I said it. It’s a harsh truth, but I see it every single week. Startups in Delhi and Bangalore, brimming with ideas, just bleeding money on “discovery phases” and “architecture planning” that go nowhere. They hire developers who talk a big game, build fancy PowerPoints, but can’t launch a revenue-ready product in under three months. Meanwhile, their cash runway burns faster than a Diwali rocket. At RAGSPRO, we ship. Period. Our mantra is simple: get something useful, something that earns money, into users’ hands in 20 days. Not 20 weeks. Twenty. Days.

We’ve built 13+ live products. Real products. Serving real users. Generating real revenue. We’ve had our fair share of 3 AM debugging sessions, fuelled by chai and pure stubbornness, pushing code to production because we promised a delivery. This isn’t some Silicon Valley fantasy. This is Delhi hustle, built on smart tech choices and a no-nonsense approach to product development. This isn’t about building the perfect product on day one. It’s about building a good enough product that starts validating your idea, gathering feedback, and most importantly, making money. That’s how you survive. That’s how you grow.

Forget the hype. Forget the buzzwords. We’re talking about a practical, proven tech stack that lets a small, focused team move at lightning speed without compromising on quality or scalability for an MVP. This is the exact blueprint we follow, the tools we trust, and the philosophy that powers every single RAGSPRO project, from a ₹49,999 MVP to a complex ₹1.99L SaaS platform. Most agencies guard their 'secret sauce.' I’m telling you ours. Now go build.

Revenue-ready MVPs, not perfect products, win the market every single time.

This is the core of RAGSPRO’s philosophy. The market doesn't care about your beautifully designed backend schema if no one uses your product. It cares about solutions. It cares about value. Your first users are looking for a basic function, a pain point solved, not an enterprise-grade, feature-rich monolith. Think about early Razorpay or Zoho—they started small, focused on one core problem, then iterated. That’s the path.

Our entire process, from client onboarding to deployment, is geared towards this rapid, revenue-first outcome. We strip away anything non-essential. No fancy animations that add zero value. No complex features that only 1% of users might eventually use. We identify the single most critical problem your product solves, build only that, and get it live. We call this the 'minimum viable value' proposition. If it doesn't directly contribute to solving the core problem or enabling a transaction, it waits.

This disciplined approach avoids the common startup trap of feature creep, where products become bloated, delayed, and ultimately, irrelevant. We tell our clients upfront: your first version will be lean. It will probably be a bit rough around the edges. But it will be functional, valuable, and in the hands of users within 20 days. That’s the only metric that matters at this stage—shipping something that works, that customers can actually pay for, and that you can iterate on based on real-world feedback, not just assumptions. Ship it or sink it.

Building SPAs from scratch is a rookie mistake for a fast MVP.

For our frontend, we exclusively use Next.js. Why? Because it’s a full-stack framework that saves us an insane amount of time. You get server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes all built-in. This means we’re not fumbling with separate API servers and client-side apps. Everything lives in one repo, one deployment, one brain. It’s like getting three tools for the price of one, perfect for lean teams.

We pair Next.js with TailwindCSS for styling. Anyone still writing custom CSS files for every project, or dealing with the complexity of BEM or CSS-in-JS solutions for an MVP, is just slowing themselves down. Tailwind gives us utility-first classes that we can compose rapidly. It's incredibly fast for prototyping and building consistent UIs. You want a responsive button? <button class="bg-blue-500 hover:bg-blue-700 text-white font-bold py-2 px-4 rounded">Click Me</button>. Done. No context switching, no fighting with specificity. Consistency comes out-of-the-box, ensuring a clean, professional look even under tight deadlines.

The newest App Router in Next.js, with its Server Components, has been a game-changer for performance and development speed. We fetch data directly on the server, keeping client bundles small and initial page loads blazing fast. This isn’t just an optimization; it’s a fundamental shift that simplifies data fetching and state management for many use cases. For example, for a user dashboard, instead of loading a spinner and fetching client-side, we render the entire dashboard on the server, delivering fully formed HTML to the browser. This setup is incredibly powerful for SEO-sensitive applications and dynamic user interfaces, delivering a snappier experience from the first byte.

Stop rolling your own authentication and database setup. Seriously.

Most founders and even some developers waste weeks building custom authentication systems and managing complex PostgreSQL setups. That’s time and money thrown away for undifferentiated heavy lifting. For our backend, Supabase is the undisputed champion. It’s an open-source Firebase alternative that gives us a full Postgres database, authentication, storage, and real-time capabilities—all managed, all scalable, and all under one roof. We connect to it using Prisma, a robust ORM, for type-safe database interactions.

Supabase handles user management, social logins, and secure token refresh cycles. This eliminates massive security and development overhead. We just configure it, hook it up, and move on to building core product features. Their Row Level Security (RLS) policies mean we can define granular access rules directly in the database, ensuring that users only see and interact with data they're authorized to. This is incredibly powerful for multi-tenant applications or platforms with varying user roles, simplifying backend logic significantly.

For instance, imagine a simple task management app for small businesses—a common RAGSPRO project. Instead of writing custom API endpoints for every CRUD operation, we expose our Supabase tables and apply RLS policies. A user can only see their tasks. An admin can see all tasks within their organization. This reduces backend development to almost zero for standard operations. Need a custom API endpoint for something specific? Supabase Edge Functions, running Deno, let us deploy serverless functions directly alongside our database, perfect for Webhooks or custom business logic. It's robust, it's fast, it's paisa vasool.

Devs spending hours on deployment are just costing you money.

Deployment for a Next.js application, especially when paired with Supabase, is a dream with Vercel. It’s built by the same team that created Next.js, so the integration is seamless. We connect our Git repository (usually GitHub), and Vercel automatically detects our Next.js project, builds it, and deploys it globally on their CDN. SSL certificates? Automatic. Custom domains? Easy. It’s truly a zero-ops experience for our frontends and API routes.

Vercel’s infrastructure intelligently caches content at the edge, meaning users across India—from Chennai to Kashmir—get lightning-fast load times. Their Instant Rollbacks feature means if something goes wrong, we can revert to a previous working deployment in seconds, minimizing downtime. This robustness and ease of deployment are critical when you’re pushing code frequently, iterating based on feedback, and launching new features within a 20-day window. We don't waste time on CI/CD pipelines or server configurations; Vercel just handles it.

For complex projects involving multiple sub-applications or a monorepo setup (like a main app, an admin dashboard, and a documentation portal), Vercel excels. It treats each project as a separate deployment, but all under one umbrella. This simplifies managing different parts of a larger system, allowing independent teams or developers to work on their respective modules without stepping on each other's toes. We just push code to a branch, and Vercel gives us a preview URL for client review. It’s a transparent, efficient workflow that keeps everyone aligned and the project moving forward without unnecessary bottlenecks.

If you're not automating repetitive tasks, you're bleeding cash.

This is where the 'AI' in RAGSPRO shines, but not in the way most people think. We’re not just slapping LLMs onto everything. We’re integrating intelligent automation to streamline operations, both for our clients and internally. For many internal tools and low-code integrations, n8n is our workhorse. It’s an open-source workflow automation tool, similar to Zapier or Make.com, but self-hostable and far more flexible. We use it to connect different services, automate notifications, data synchronization, and trigger actions based on events.

For example, we recently built an internal vendor payment processing tool for a logistics firm based out of Gurugram. Their manual process involved spreadsheets, emails, and phone calls—a massive time sink. We created a small Next.js admin portal where they could upload vendor invoices. An n8n workflow then kicked in: it read the invoice data, cross-referenced it with their internal database (Supabase), calculated payouts, and then triggered a bulk payout via Razorpay’s API. Simultaneously, it sent automated WhatsApp messages to vendors confirming payment and a dashboard update for the finance team. This single automation saved them roughly 20 man-hours a week. That’s what I call real AI value—solving a concrete problem, making operations faster and cheaper.

When n8n isn't powerful enough or we need highly specific, custom logic that involves complex AI models (like document parsing with GPT-4V or sophisticated data analysis), we build custom microservices. These are typically small, focused Next.js API routes or Python Flask/FastAPI services, often containerized with Docker, and deployed on Vercel or a simple DigitalOcean droplet. These bespoke agents handle the heavy lifting of AI inference, allowing the main application to remain lean and fast. It's about pragmatic AI integration, not just AI for AI's sake. The goal is always utility, always efficiency, always revenue.

Indian payment gateways are a jungle; Razorpay simplifies it.

Any product targeting the Indian market needs robust payment processing. And honestly, it’s a minefield out here. Clunky APIs, high failure rates, terrible support. We standardize on Razorpay for almost all our Indian payment integrations. Their API is clean, well-documented, and their SDKs integrate seamlessly with Next.js applications. Whether it’s one-time payments, subscriptions, or UPI transactions, Razorpay covers sab kuch. It just works, and that’s a luxury in our ecosystem.

We integrate Razorpay Standard Checkout for most MVPs. This reduces development time significantly as we don't have to build custom payment UI. For our client, a local e-commerce store in Noida selling handcrafted items, we integrated Razorpay in less than a day. Users select products, hit checkout, Razorpay pops up, they pay via UPI, Netbanking, or card, and the transaction is complete. We handle webhooks to update order status in Supabase after successful payments. Simple, fast, secure.

For communication, especially in India, you absolutely cannot ignore WhatsApp Business API. Email open rates are abysmal; everyone is on WhatsApp. We use the WhatsApp Business API for critical transactional notifications: order confirmations, payment receipts, shipping updates, and even customer support escalations. It’s direct, immediate, and has a significantly higher engagement rate. Imagine an e-commerce platform automatically sending a delivery update via WhatsApp: "Hi [Customer Name], your order #[OrderID] from RAGSPRO Store is out for delivery! Expect it by 6 PM today. Track here: [Tracking Link]". This proactive communication drastically improves customer experience and reduces support queries. We typically use a third-party provider like Gupshup or Twilio (or often, n8n integrates with these directly) to manage the WhatsApp Business API, simplifying template message approvals and message sending, because managing the API directly can be a bit of a headache.

Most MVPs don't need a native app on day one. But if they do...

This is a common point of contention with founders. Everyone wants a mobile app, bilkul. But building a separate iOS and Android app adds significant time, cost, and complexity. For most MVPs, a responsive web application built with Next.js serves 90% of use cases perfectly well. Users can access it from their phone browser, and it saves you the pain of app store submissions, different codebases, and platform-specific bugs. Always start web-first unless there's a compelling reason not to.

However, some use cases genuinely demand a native app experience—offline capabilities, specific hardware integrations (like barcode scanners or custom Bluetooth devices), or a truly unique UI/UX that web can't deliver. In those scenarios, we turn to Expo with React Native. Expo allows us to rapidly build cross-platform mobile apps from a single JavaScript codebase. It handles all the complex native module setup, bundling, and deployment to app stores. We can go from zero to a testable app on both iOS and Android in days, not weeks or months.

Consider a field sales reporting app for an FMCG distributor in rural Karnataka—another RAGSPRO project. Sales agents needed to log visits, record orders offline, and sync data when they had connectivity. A web app just wouldn't cut it. We built this with Expo. The agents could use their Android phones to input data even without internet access. Once they hit a network zone, the app would automatically sync all pending reports to our Supabase backend. Expo's development workflow, with instant reloading and over-the-air updates, was crucial for iterating quickly and deploying fixes to agents in the field without requiring full app store updates. This is where the power of a unified codebase truly shines, maximizing efficiency for mobile-first products.

Our process cuts the fat, focusing only on what generates revenue, end of story.

So, how do we actually pull off a revenue-ready MVP in 20 days? It’s not magic; it’s a ruthless focus on scope, a battle-tested tech stack, and a team that understands velocity. Our 20-day sprint is structured, but flexible enough to adapt to client needs without getting bogged down.

  • Days 1-3: Discovery & Core Feature Definition. This isn't a month-long 'discovery phase.' We jump on a few intense calls with the founder, usually 2-3 hours each. We map out the absolute core user flow, identify the one pain point we’re solving, and define 3-5 key features. No more. No less. We sketch wireframes, agree on scope, and define success metrics. We confirm the stack. This phase costs a flat ₹49,999 for most MVPs, and it's brutally efficient.
  • Days 4-15: Development Sprint. This is where our developers dive in. Frontend with Next.js and Tailwind, backend with Supabase, integrated with Razorpay and WhatsApp where needed. Our developers are full-stack by design; they don't wait for backend teams or frontend teams. They own a feature from database to UI. We have daily stand-ups, short and sharp. Progress is tracked hourly, not daily. If a blocker emerges, we swarm it. This is intense coding, usually involving a few late nights, pushing incremental changes to Vercel for continuous deployment.
  • Days 16-18: Testing & Client Feedback. We’re not aiming for perfection, but we guarantee functionality. Our internal QA team puts the product through its paces. Simultaneously, we give the client access to a staging environment (easily generated by Vercel for a specific branch). We collect feedback, prioritize bugs over new features, and quickly iterate. This is a crucial feedback loop where the founder sees the product taking shape and can provide real-time input.
  • Days 19-20: Deployment & Launch. Final fixes, last-minute tweaks, and then it’s go-time. We push to production on Vercel, set up domain names, and ensure all integrations (payments, WhatsApp, analytics) are live and functional. We often do a soft launch, inviting a small cohort of initial users. The goal is to get that first piece of revenue, that first real user feedback.

This process is lean, mean, and built for speed. For a simple MVP (e.g., an internal tool, a booking platform with basic payments), we charge ₹49,999. For more complex SaaS platforms with custom AI agents and deeper integrations, prices can go up to ₹1.99L. It’s about delivering maximum value in minimal time. No hidden costs. No endless project manager calls. Just shipping.

No tech stack is a silver bullet; ours has clear limitations.

Look, I’m bullish on our stack, but I’m not delusional. There’s no single set of tools that fits every single project. Our Next.js, Supabase, Vercel stack is optimised for speed, developer experience, and scalability *for an MVP and initial growth phase*. It’s perfect for validating ideas, achieving product-market fit, and getting your first few thousand users. But like any powerful tool, it has trade-offs, and knowing them is crucial. I’m not going to sell you snake oil.

If you're building a highly complex, data-intensive application requiring real-time analytics on billions of rows, a custom GraphQL backend with a sharded database might be a better long-term choice than Supabase's managed Postgres. If your application needs to handle millions of concurrent users from day one with extremely low latency across every single feature, you might eventually need more fine-grained control over your server infrastructure than Vercel provides out-of-the-box (though Vercel's Edge Functions are incredibly powerful). If you’re building something like the next Zerodha—processing millions of trades per second—you'll probably need a different beast entirely, perhaps a custom microservices architecture on AWS or GCP, with Kafka or RabbitMQ for message queuing. Our stack isn’t designed for that level of complexity *at launch*.

Also, if your core product relies on highly specialised, niche technologies—say, a unique geospatial database or a real-time video processing engine—integrating those might require custom solutions outside the immediate comfort zone of our stack. While Next.js APIs or Supabase Edge Functions can connect to almost anything, the initial setup might take longer than a typical 20-day sprint. Our sweet spot remains feature-rich web applications, internal tools, and SaaS platforms that leverage the power of a modern JavaScript ecosystem and robust managed services. It’s about making honest assessments. Don't force a square peg into a round hole. Know your tools, know your limits.

Tools are just tools; the people behind them make or break a product.

We can talk about Next.js, Supabase, Vercel all day long, but at the end of the day, these are just instruments. The real secret sauce at RAGSPRO isn't the tech; it's the people. It’s our small, battle-hardened team of full-stack developers who live and breathe this stack. They don’t just write code; they build products. They understand that a pixel-perfect design means nothing if the underlying functionality is broken. They value shipping over endless refactoring, pragmatic solutions over theoretical perfection.

Our team members are obsessed with efficiency. We don't have layers of project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance engineers. Each developer is responsible for their features end-to-end—from understanding the requirement to writing code, testing it, and deploying it. This cuts down on communication overhead, minimizes misunderstandings, and fosters a deep sense of ownership. That 3 AM debugging session I mentioned earlier? Those are real. It’s the drive to deliver on a promise, to get a client’s vision into the hands of users, that keeps us pushing.

We foster a culture of constant learning and sharing. New features in Next.js? Best practices for Supabase RLS? A clever n8n workflow? We discuss these over virtual chai breaks and share knowledge relentlessly. This ensures our team stays at the cutting edge and leverages every optimisation these powerful tools offer. We don’t just follow trends; we understand how to apply them pragmatically to solve real business problems, fast. The tech stack provides the velocity, but the team provides the trajectory.

Stop dreaming. Start shipping.

The Indian startup ecosystem is booming. India's SaaS market alone crossed $18B in 2024. Opportunities are everywhere, but so is the competition. The biggest killer of good ideas isn’t lack of funding or bad marketing; it’s the inability to execute, to ship, to get your product out there and validate it with real users and real money. The "chalta hai" attitude simply won't cut it anymore. CRED didn't become a unicorn by procrastinating. Zerodha didn't wait for perfect software to disrupt stockbroking.

Our 20-day sprint with this battle-tested tech stack isn't just about building an MVP; it’s about instilling a culture of execution. It’s about proving that you can launch quickly, iterate effectively, and compete fiercely. We help founders move from idea to revenue in a timeframe that most agencies consider impossible. We cut through the noise, avoid the common pitfalls, and focus on one thing: getting your product live and earning.

If you're a founder in India with an idea, tired of promises and slow development cycles, consider this your wake-up call. Stop wasting time and money. Stop letting perfect be the enemy of good. Come build something real, something that generates revenue, something that serves users—in 20 days. That’s the RAGSPRO promise. Reach out; let's build your next big thing. Let’s make it happen, not just talk about it.
